Introductory Package

This is an exploratory one hour Zoom session which involves a strategic discussion to share your job experience and current challenges with additional time spent identifying what areas of career direction, coaching, resume editing etc. are necessary to get you to where you want to be.
Overarching recommendations will be shared at the end of the session, along with several professional tools (ie: Resume tips, Resume samples, job search strategy tips etc) to help you get started.

Resume Transformation Package

This is a more comprehensive package that will help accelerate the transformation of your resume, linkedin profile and job search strategy. Consisting of TWO one hour Zoom sessions booked a week apart, the Introductory consult is followed up with a second session to provide customized feedback to the changes that you have made to your resume, linkedin profile etc. This package will also include a final hands-on edit of your resume (another 30 min of time) that will be provided to further polish up and transform your resume.

Interview Coaching

Have you been successful at securing first or second round interviews, but haven’t progressed any further? This suggests that you might benefit from coaching to improve how you present yourself and perform in interviews. The initial one hour session will provide you with feedback on what you are doing well and where you need to improve. Following this, you will be provided with an ‘interview tips’ guide and a list of the most frequently asked interview questions for your role/industry. You will be encouraged to practice before the second session which will be a mock interview to assess your progress and ensure that you nail your next interview!

CAREER COACHING - STUDENTS

Designed for students in university or high school

As a seasoned recruiter who has placed hundreds of interns and young executives at leading Fortune 500 companies like J&J, Labatt, Mondelez, Pepsi, Smuckers, Campbell’s, VW, Colgate, Canada Goose etc., I know what companies are looking for in young talent and can help provide invaluable career guidance to both university and high school aged students interested in maximizing their career potential.

University level students

As a part-time Career Advisor with the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University, I’ve coached both BComm and MBA students to help them explore their best career path options and help them secure their ‘dream jobs’. Specific areas of coaching expertise include:

Identifying potential career paths given a student’s unique skills and experience.
Creating or polishing up resumes and LinkedIn profiles to best showcase prior work experience and extra-curriculars.
Helping students write effective cover letters, learn how to network effectively and understand proper job search etiquette.

High school students

Student Introductory Package

This is an exploratory one hour Zoom session which involves an upfront strategic discussion to understand your specific questions/areas of focus and review your previous experience and achievements (academic, work, extra-curriculars, personal interests etc). Your current resume/linkedin profile will be reviewed, with overarching recommendations to be provided at the end of the session, along with several professional tools (ie: Resume and LinkedIn tips, entrance essay tips/samples, etc) to help you make the changes you need.
1 hour session: $325 (also includes advance review of resume)

Student Transformation Package

To achieve maximum results, two sessions are recommended since most students are starting from scratch in building effective resumes, LinkedIn profiles and creating effective entrance essays, cover letters or job search strategies.
This package goes one step further than the Introductory package, adding an important second Zoom session to provide customized feedback to the changes that you have already made and sent back in advance of the second meeting. It also includes a final hands-on edit to help complete the transformation of your resume, LinkedIn profile, cover letter etc.
TWO x 30 min coaching sessions plus 45 min of additional editing time: $500
